Nestled in the foothills of the You Yangs, this Bluestone cottage takes you back to an age before telephones, radios, televisions and the internet. Built with loving care by the property owner from local stone, the Tower Keeper’s Cottage is faithful to the history of the region. Each block was cut and crafted on site and traditional stone masonry techniques used to produce an ideal week-end retreat or holiday hide-away.

Meticulous care has been taken to offer the latest in modern conveniences whilst not losing the charm of the surroundings.

Fitted with wonderful antique furniture including a period roll-top writing desk for the completion of dispatches and bills, the Tower Keeper’s Cottage will welcome the visitor and immerse them in a quiet and peaceful world away from the madding crowd.

Tower Hill is Geelong’s tallest free-standing tower, masoned from the same Bluestone stock. Situated on private property, you can be guaranteed your privacy. The owners welcome you but are happy to leave you to enjoy this experience. You are in the eagle’s nest. The view is breathtaking with Corio Bay stretching to the horizon and
Melbourne’s edge and with the foothills of the Brisbane ranges behind. Continental breakfast provisions are supplied and all linen, bedding and towels. The loft houses a Queen sized bed and there is a double below.

Nothing beats twilight in the Tower with Brian, a good red and a eloquent tutorial on the stone masonry of its construction. Cancellation / Refunds Policy

We accept cancellations on two (2) weeks notice (except for events) and offer full refunds. Where notice is less than two (2) weeks and/or the booking was for an event, we will refund in full or part to the extent we are able to re-let.
